New to the 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival

  • Patagonia Marketplace – It will be a fusion of the flavors of Argentina and Chile. Dishes will included sustainable roasted Verlasso salmon with quinoa salad drizzled with a kicky arugula chimichurri. Chilean wines offered include Cono Sur Bicicleta Biognier and Cono Sur Bicicleta Pinot Noir Rosé.
  • Farm Fresh Market – It is replacing Florida Local Marketplace. Menu items include “Bacon and Eggs”,  applewood-smoked, pepper-coated bacon, sweet corn, potatoes, Hollandaise and pickled jalapeños, and “Yard Bird”, chicken with braised greens. For beer drinkers, Orlando Brewing Company’s I-4 IPA and a Ba Black Lager from Salt Lake City’s Uinta Brewing Company.
  • Sunday Mornings With … – A plated brunch with a pastry chef or baker creating three delicious desserts.

Returning this year will be the Parisian Breakfast, which debuted last year. Brazil Marketplace is back after a two year hiatus. The popular crispy pork belly with black beans, onions, avocado and cilantro will be on the menu, but also Mocequa de Pesscado (tilapia with coconut lime sauce and steamed rice), Pao de Queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) and Cocadas (Brazilian coconut candy). Poland will be replacing its pierogi with a new sauerkraut pierogi and pork goulash. We can’t wait to try these new items!

Events returning that are included with Epcot admission include Back to Basics series, special book signings, Eat to the Beat concerts and cultural adventures. The Marketplace Discovery Passport will also be available again.

For those interested in the special events, they should be announced later this summer with booking starting around the beginning of August (that’s been when they’ve had it in the past). Guests will be able to book online or by calling (407) WDW-FEST.
