The 2017 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival will be taking place every day March 10 through April 16, 2017. That’s right, this year it is JUST on the weekends!
Guests will be able to enjoy several marketplace booths featuring California cuisine, as well as culinary and beverage demonstrations, and special celebrity chef experiences.

Disneyland has yet to announce the menus for this year, but once they do we’ll be sure to share them with you. We’re hoping to see the return of last years and some new addition of new booths.
Last year’s marketplaces included Nuts About Cheese, Uncorked California, I Heart Artichokes, Garlic Kissed, California Craft Brews, Olive Us, Bacon Twist, Lemon Grove, Seafood… Sustained, The Onion Lair, Off the Cobb, Sweet and Sourdough, LAstyle, Wineology, and The Brewhouse.

Culinary Demonstration, Wine, Beer and Spirits Seminars
This year, the Culinary Demonstrations and Beverage Seminars will be charging a nominal fee. Culinary demonstrations will be 30 minute and take place at Festival Showplace, Stage 17 in Hollywood Land. The culinary demonstrations will be taking place at various times throughout the week at 12 pm, 2 pm, 4 pm, and/or 6 pm depending on the day. The demonstrations will cost 10 per person, plus tax Monday – Thursday and 15 per person, plus tax, Friday – Sunday.

Sonoma Terrace at the Golden Vine Winery will hold wine seminars that will be 30-45 minutes. These seminars will take place daily at 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm, with additional times at 12:30 pm and 6:30 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. They are 15 per person, plus tax Monday – Thursday and 20 per person, plus tax, Friday – Sunday.

Beer and spirit seminars will take place in Festival Showplace, Stage 17 in Hollywood Land and last 30-45 minutes. These will take and.place at 3 pm and 5 pm, except Monday-Wednesday – only at 5 pm. They are 15 per person, plus tax Monday – Thursday and 20 per person, plus tax, Friday – Sunday.

To avoid a $10 “no-show” fee, make sure to cancel at least 24 hours in advance if you’re unable to make it.
‘Eat Like Walt’ is a D23 member exclusive cooking demonstration taking place on April 10, 2017 at 4 pm. The event is just 10 per person, and includes a meet n’ greet with Marcy Smothers.
Premium events are back again this year with more choices than before. These events include In the Kitchen with…, Sweet Sundays, Winemakers Dinners, and Brewmaster Beer Dinners. Prices for these vary from 79 to 200. For more information, check out our post on Premium Events!
Kids ages 3-11 years can take part in Junior Chef with hands-on experiences. There will also be Lifestyle Seminars where you’ll enjoy a 20- 30 minute presentation on a variety of lifestyle topics and live art demonstrations.
As with every Disneyland event, there is special merchandise. This year’s festival merch features Chef Mickey. There is even Disneyland Annual Passholder exclusive merchandise. Check out what you can expect to see this year!
