Many families like to have the conveniences of home when they travel. They want to be able to do their laundry and cook meals themselves. For those guests, Disney has what they call Disney Vacation Club (DVC for short). You don’t have to be a member to stay at one of these resorts either. Since Disney offers guests transportation to and from the airport for free when staying at one of their resorts, it’s a concern of some about how to get groceries. Well, that’s where Garden Grocer comes in.
Garden Grocer is an online grocery store that offers a wide selection of products (over 4,700) and delivers directly to your resort. They offer competitive prices with convenience. When shopping online everything is divided into aisles, just like a supermarket. You can also shop by brand and specialty categories (kosher, organic, gluten free and on sale). You can buy everything from baby care to international foods to park essentials to beer and wine. You’ll also find specials, new items and recipes.
How do you order?
Once you’ve placed all of your items in your cart, you’ll go to checkout. At check out you’ll choose a delivery date and 2-hour time window for delivery Delivers are made between 8 am and 9 pm. They will try to contact you about 30 minutes prior to their delivery.
How do frozen and refrigerated items come?
They are placed in coolers with freezer packs and dry ice to keep them cold.
Is there a minimum?
Yes, the minimum is $40.
Is there a delivery charge?
Yes, the delivery charge is $14 for orders up to $200. Orders over $200 have a $2 delivery fee.
