Review: Chicken and Waffles from Fantasy Fare

In the soon-to-be Disney Springs West Side, there are four food trucks that sit in Exposition Park – Superstar Catering, Namaste Cafe, World Showcase of Flavors and Fantasy Fare. Today, we’re going to talk about the Chicken and Waffles from the Fantasy Fare food truck.

We love the Sweet Chicken Waffle Sandwich. It’s one of our favorite quick-service menu items. Since Fantasy Fare had Chicken and Waffles on the menu, we had to try! The chicken and waffles is topped with sriracha maple syrup and blue cheese sauce. The sriracha maple syrup is awesome. The sriracha mellows out the sweetness of the maple syrup. The blue cheeses adds a bit of saltiness the dish. We really like the dish and will be back for more.

Does it compare to the chicken waffle sandwich at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments? Not quite, but it’s still great. If you’re having a craving for chicken and waffles, and aren’t heading to Magic Kingdom, this is the place for you to satisfy that need.

Don’t like blue cheese? Have an allergy to it? Don’t worry. If you ask the Cast Member to leave off the blue cheese sauce, they absolutely will. And for those of you who like ranch dressing, they can give you a side of ranch to pour or dip your chicken into.
