Serenity Bay BBQ on Castaway Cay

Guests taking a Caribbean or Bahamas cruise will be treated to a stop at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. If you’re 18 and older, you can take the tram out to Serenity Bay, the adults only beach. This section of the island has a beautiful beach, an island bar and Serenity Bay BBQ.

The restaurant is open 11:30 am to 2 pm and is buffet-style. It’s all-you-care-to-eat so you’ll want to come hungry. The menu consists of salads, grilled entrees and desserts. There is no fee, it’s included in the price of the cruise!

At the restaurant there are tons of picnic tables with umbrellas. If it’s packed, you can always take your food to the beach.

At the grill, everything is made fresh! Guests can enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, ribeye steaks, rotisserie chicken, Cajun mahi mahi and BBQ pork ribs. The mahi mahi and steaks are only available at Serenity Bay BBQ. At the salad station you’ll find hot dog buns, hamburger buns and hoagie rolls, as well as sandwich toppings like lettuce and tomato.

There are about 12 salads to choose from at the salad station. Some of the choices include cole slaw, pasta salad, cucumber salad, couscous, rice pilaf and potato salad.

Make sure to save room for dessert! You can enjoy soft-service ice cream – chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and banana. There is also pineapple upside-down cake and mini banana bread loaves.

Guests can enjoy all the Coca-Cola beverages, iced tea or coffee they’d like. If you are wanting an alcoholic beverage or bottled water, those are available for purchase.
