Merry and Bright dining options at Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights

If you plan to visit Walt Disney World during the holidays this year, make sure you don’t miss the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. With the announcement that this is the final year, it is sure to be a popular event. To add a little Disney magic to your trip, here are this year’s choices for dining while overlooking the lights that you won’t want to miss.

This holiday season there are two options for enjoying some de”light”ful food under the dancing lights. The Merry and Bright Dessert Party from November 6 – December 30 and the Merry and Bright Dinner Reception from January 1-3. The dessert party will not only be set in a reserved area away from the crowds, but this year along with decadent treats, you will also receive a special custom rolled stadium blanket to keep you warm while watching the lights.

New this year is the addition of a dinner reception. This 3-night only event will also be in a private reserved viewing area and features small plates of turkey, beef and shrimp along with other holiday fare. There is going to be wine, beer and other specialty cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. All those who attend the dinner reception will get a souvenir keepsake as well, a custom shadow box complete with a display of dancing lights all your own.

Prices for the Merry and Bright Dessert Party are $69 per adult and $39 per child (age 3-9) with tax and gratuity included. Prices for the Merry and Bright Dinner Reception are $99 per adult and $54 per child (age 3-9) with tax and gratuity.
