Beverage tastings on the Disney Cruise Line

Disney Cruise Line isn’t just for kids, but adults too. There’s an adults-only pool, spa and dining. Those 21 and up can also now enjoy beverage tastings on the Disney Cruise Line.

Wine Tasting

Want to learn more about wines and look like an expert? There is now a “From Stem to Stem” wine experience. Guests will learn about the history of winemaking, the prduction method and classification. Old World wines from France, Italy or Spain, as well as New World wines from Argentina, Australia and the United States will be featured. For those that have questions about wine, you’ll have a chance to speak with Palo‘s Head Sommelier.

Martini Tasting

For guests who prefer cocktails, the martini tasting may just be what you’re looking for. You’ll learn about the history of the martini and find out the best way to make it and with what garnishes. The martinis will be gin or vodka based and include some specialty ones like the Toblerone Martini (sounds amazing, right?), Apple Martini and of course, the Cosmopolitan.

Champagne Tasting

Learn about the best Champagnes and sparkling wines from France, Italy and everywhere else in between. You’ll sample ones like Moët & Chandon Imperial and Taittinger Prestige Rosé. You’ll also learn about the art of mixing Champagnes and sparkling wines with liquor… think Kir Royale.

Whiskey Tasting

Whether you like Scotch, Irish, Canadian or American whiskeys, you’ll learn all about how they are made in this tasting. You’ll also find out how to properly drink it and detect its aromas and flavors.

Cognac Tasting

Ever wanted to know more about Cognacs? This is your chance. You’ll learn what it is, how it’s made and the art of tasting it. Some of the Cognacs you’ll sample include Courvoisier, Hennessy and Remy Martin.
