Kouzzina by Cat Cora set to close this fall
It was announced last week that celebrity chef Cat Cora would be closing her Mediterranean restaurant, Kouzzina by Cat Cora. It will close on Oct. 1 and except reservations through Sep. 30.
Cat Cora and Walt Disney World released the following statement last Monday.
“After five successful years operating Kouzzina by Cat Cora, we have decided to move on to new opportunities,” it said. “We are very appreciative of the amazing Cast Members who made Kouzzina by Cat Cora such a popular destination. Our collaboration has been an incredible adventure and we are very proud of the restaurant we created and the experiences we provided to countless families who enjoyed everything Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. It is our hope to work together again in the future.”
Kouzzina by Cat Cora opened at Disney’s Boardwalk in 2009 in the location that had formerly been Spoodles. There is no word yet on what the new restaurant will be, but according to Disney World it is scheduled for this fall. For guests looking to dine at Disney’s Boardwalk other options include Flying Fish Cafe, Big River Grille and Brewing Works and ESPN Club.
We are excited to see what new is coming to Disney World but we definitely miss Kouzzina.
Will you miss Kouzzina by Cat Cora?
