Recipe: Sticky Toffee Pudding

The weather is getting cold and warm, comforting food is what everyone needs. Raglan Road’s Sticky Toffee Pudding will satisfy that need. With this recipe you can make this sinfully delicious dessert at home. It serves 4 to 6 people.
Sticky Toffee Pudding
1¾ cups pitted dates
1¼ cups water
2½ tsp baking soda
7/8 cup butter
1¾ cups sugar
4 eggs
3 cups plain flour
1oz baking powder
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
- Preheat the oven to 325ËšF.
- Place the dates and water into a large saucepan and bring to the boil.
- Add the bread soda and allow to simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from the heat and allow to cool.
