Sneak peek at the updates to California Grill
California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort was recently closed for renovation and won’t reopen until late summer. The restaurant is getting an all new look and menu. Disney Parks Blog has given us a sneak peek at what’s to come.
Some of the new menu items at California Grill will include Pork Two Ways with wood-fired tenderloin with goat cheese polenta and braised pork belly with country applesauce; Spicy Kaza Roll with tuna, shrimp and scallops with tempura crunch and fireball sauce; Japanese-style bone marrow with crunchy panko, sweet onion jam and beef tartare; Sea Urchin Nigiri with mamanori, salmon roe and freshly grated wasabi root; and 24-hour braised beef short rib with truffle whipped potatoes, puff pastry with roasted vegetables and natural jus.
Disney Parks Blog shared more than just a look at the fantastic new menu items but the interior of the restaurant as well. The colors will be more subdued and with the new layout every table will have an amazing view. Here is a look at the changes being made to the dining room and open air kitchen.
Check back for updates on the refurbishment!
We can’t wait to dine at California Grill when it’s all finished. We love the new sophisticated, modern look! What do you think of the new decor and menu?
