Special 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration food announced for Disneyland
As the 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration kickoff nears, Disneyland is releasing information about what’s to come. This week is particularly special for us foodies! Beginning May 22nd, there will be a number of themed drinks and special cupcakes that will be offered around the resort.
In Disneyland, look for the Frozen Pomegranate Silver Sparkler from Jolly Holiday Bakery Café. This sweet slushee will certainly hit the spot during hot summer days. It sure looks pretty with all that glitter atop the foam. Over at the Troubadour Tavern, you can find the Enchanted Cherry Apple Frozen Lemonade (whew, that’s a mouthful to even say). A fruity mix of apple and cherry flavors combined with lemonade should prove to be quite refreshing. If fruit isn’t your thing, sashay your way to the Hungry Bear Restaurant and grab a Honey Bee Frozen Lemonade. No doubt this drink will pair nicely with their Lemon Bumblebee Cupcake.
Over at Disney California Adventure, swing by Lucky Fortune Cookery for a cold cup of Lucky Fortune Tea. This drink is a healthy mixture of green tea, mango and red passion fruit. Yum!
Elsewhere in the resort, White Water Snacks at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will showcase a Wild Raspberry Rapids Frozen Lemonade. It should be perfect to sip poolside at the hotel or take on the go.
If you haven’t had your fill of lemon with all these new drinks, how about a cupcake? That’s right, over at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café in Disneyland park there will be a lemon cupcake that is meant to symbolize the Victorian-era theme of Main Street, USA. In Disney California Adventure, the 1930s theme of Buena Vista Street will be represented by an orange cupcake at Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Café. Sounds like loads of fruity fun!
As information is released, we will keep you up to date about all the special food being offered for Disneyland’s 60th Diamond Anniversary celebration. We can’t wait!
