The story that the Disney Imagineers are telling is that this chocolate shop used to be an apothecary where residents of the springs came for medicinal needs. The space was then taken over by a couple from South America who turned into a chocolate shop. There are even pictures on the wall of the couple to make it feel more real.

The bottles, scales and other decor are inspired by old apothecaries. The chandelier is made from copper pots and kettles used to make chocolate.

Most of the cocoa beans used to make the chocolate and ganache are sourced from South America. In addition, the decor is Latin with ceramic draws and South American music. The walls are painted the color of dark chocolate and caramel.
