Toffee treats return to Disneyland Resort for September 2015

Those of you with a sweet tooth get ready because Disneyland Resort is bringing back their popular gourmet toffee treats. In the past, this delectable delight was limited to the caramel apple. They’ve expanded the treat list to include marshmallow wands, crispy treats, and yes, even bark.

If you remember last month, Disneyland featured pretzel covered treats during August.  You can check out our article here: “New summer treats at Disneyland Resort.”  These tantalizing toffees will be around all September.

The apples, marshmallow wands, and crispy treats all start with a generous coat of oewy, gooey caramel. Next is a layer of delicious milk chocolate. This is followed by crunchy, sweet toffee bits and pieces of roasted almond. The entire assembly is drizzled with some more chocolate.

In addition to the trio of goodies above, there will also be a bark available as well. This is made with all of the same ingredients, sans the caramel.

You can find all of these toffee temptations around the Disneyland Resort. At the Disneyland park, head over to Candy Palace on Main Street, USA. Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure park will have them too. And, if you’re in the Downtown Disney Anaheim district, swing by Marceline’s Confectionary.
