2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival to feature more Marketplaces

Our favorite festival of the year, Epcot Food and Wine Festival will feature more Marketplaces than ever before. Guests will be able to experience 35 of them during the event.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of Epcot, so we’re getting 35 Marketplaces to enjoy starting Aug. 31 and running through Nov. 13. That’s right, it’s longer than in previous years. Now there is 75 days to sip and nosh around the World Showcase and Future World.

This year the Disney chefs have added new dishes and new Marketplaces – India and Spain (actually Spain is returning). We have a look at some of the dishes we’ll be able to enjoy too.

New to Farm Fresh will be a Crispy chicken with griddled cornbread and red-eye gravy. A charcuterie in a cone from  Spain will be a fun to dish to try. We know of two dishes coming to India – Spicy Korma Chicken with cucumber-tomato salad, almonds, cashews and warm naan bread, and Spicy Korma Chicken with cucumber-tomato salad, almonds, cashews and warm naan bread and for dessert, pistachio cardamom cake with a dollop of chocolate coconut mousse.
