Allergy Dining Tips in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
One concern for visitors with special dietary needs is where to eat. Disney does a great job at accommodating the needs to those who are gluten-free, diabetic, vegan and other allergies or needs at its table service restaurant. However, finding snacks can be a little more difficult. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, they have a special kiosk designated to guests with dining allergies. Take a look at what’s available!
The Allergy Dining Tips kiosk is located on Discovery Island, past Flame Tree Barbecue, before the bridge to enter Asia. It offers select snacks and drinks that gluten-free, lactose intolerant, vegetarian and vegan. Some of the menu items can be redeemed using Disney Dining Plan snack credits.
In addition to the snacks and beverages, guests can ask the cast members here about dining with allergies and intolerance in the park. They are a great resource for those with dining concerns!
Some of the menu items include hummus with veggies, Lundberg rice chips, Enjoy Life cookies, Tofutti ice cream (chocolate or vanilla)Â and gluten-free beers. Guests can also enjoy Babycakes NYC baked goods, like muffins, even though the location closed in Downtown Disney. For those that miss Babycakes NYC, their delicious treats are still available at several Disney resorts!
