Check list of Disneyland’s Season of the Force food merchandise
21 November, 2015
Season of the Force at Disneyland introduced a plethora of eye-popping menu options at Galactic Grill and Redd Rockett’s Pizza Port. But beyond the delectable dishes are a bounty of beautiful food merchandise items. Tomorrowland will be brimming with fun containers that double as great souvenirs.
If you want one of the good guys, then you’ll probably opt for some drinkware. The cutest droid in the galaxy, BB-8, comes in the form of a sipper cup. It comes with a choice of frozen drink and is available at multiple locations in Tomorrowland. Han Solo’s partner in crime, Chewbacca, is represented by a stein. In a slight twist, the plastic “fuzz ball” container will actually come with either grapes or pineapple. So, not really a drink per se, even though it’s a stein. Nevertheless, it looks cool. Speaking of drink related merchandise, there will be a trio of light up items to go along with your favorite beverage. At the Galactic Grill (formerly known as Tomorrowland Terrace), there are two specialty drinks. Up first is “The Light Side.” This is made with Odwalla® Lemonade and Granny Smith Apple, as well as yogurt “meteors” that look like boba balls. It comes with a light up Millennium Falcon glow cube. Second is “The Dark Side,” which has Odwalla® Lemonade and Strawberry. A red Death Star glow cube floats inside. Finally, there is the X-wing fighter glow clip. These can be found at the outdoor vending carts located around Tomorrowland. It comes with your choice of frozen beverage. At the popcorn stands located in the area, you can find a pair of collectibles from the “Dark Side.” The most recognizable villain in the Star Wars canon, Darth Vader, comes with either popcorn or cotton candy. There is actually a choice between pink or blue cotton candy (I vote pink, more authentic for brains – hehe).
The TIE fighter is also available. This container only comes with popcorn. It looks menacing and awesome at the same time.
The final food merchandise item comes from the Empire Strikes Back movie. It’s the Han Solo frozen in carbonite popcorn bucket. This can be found at Galactic Grill. However, instead of getting popcorn, you will need to buy the much ballyhooed First Order Specialty Burger. It costs an extra $8.00 on top of the burger cost, for a total of $19.49 for the package. Whether you’re a Star Wars fan or not, you must admit that the food merchandise looks spectacular. Disneyland has gone above and beyond to make sure guests are fully immersed in the Season of the Force. I look forward to checking it all out in the near future.
