Disney announces the locations of Starbucks in Magic Kingdom and Epcot
Earlier this year it was announced that Starbucks would be coming to all Disney parks at Disneyland and Disney World. The location at Disney California Adventure on Buena Vista Street – Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe opened this summer.
On Nov. 9 Disney announced the locations for Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Magic Kingdom’s location will be where Main Street Bakery currently resides. It will close for refurbishment in January 2013 and reopen as Starbucks in early summer. The Epcot location will be replacing Fountain View in Future World. It will close for refurbishment in March 2013 and reopen as Starbucks midsummer.
According to Disney Parks Blog the Starbucks will fit into the theming of the areas. On Main Street it will be consistent with the early 20th century look and feel, including the costumes. In Future World, they will have a futuristic feel.
The Starbucks locations will offer signature beverages, breakfast sandwiches and baked goods. For those worried about their favorite Disney treats, there will also be a selection of those to enjoy as well. No details on an official menu have been given.
