Disney Dining Plan rates have increased as of today

As of today, Wednesday, March 9, 2016, Disney Dining Plan rates have increased by 3%. Here is the breakdown of the new prices.
Quick-Service Disney Dining Plan is now 44.13 per person age 10 and up and 19.04 for ages 3 – 9 years. It previously was 42.84 and 17.47.
Plus Disney Dining Plan (also known as the basic plan) is now 63.70 per person ages 10 and up and 22.85 for ages 3 – 9 years. It previously was 61.84 and 20.96.
Deluxe Disney Dining Plan is now 115.08 per person ages 10 and up and 35.49 for ages 3 – 9 years. It was 111.73 and 32.56.
All prices listed are per night and include taxes.

Yes, since it’s generally only the wife and I who go to WDW (DVC members), we don’t purchase the dinning plans. But, what we have done is buy the “Tables of Wonder” discount plan and even that went up in price. So it’s getting a little tougher to try to save on dining at WDW. But, this still doesn’t stop us from going, it just makes us be more selective on where we want to dine. At times we have one or two special dinning meals (i.e. The Boathouse and Yachtsman’s restaurant) we go and all other times pizza or head to Splitsville for a burger or wings etc., or the ESPN Club.
