Disney World dining cancellation policy to be expanded
Starting on October 31, the Disney World dining cancellation policy will be expanded to all table service restaurants at the resort.
Back in 2011 Disney implemented a dining cancellation policy that required character meals and signature dining restaurants to put down a credit card number. If guests didn’t cancel 24 hours in advance or didn’t show for your reservation you’d be charged a $10 per person fee ($25 per person at Victoria & Albert’s). Now this policy will include all table service restaurants.
If guests choose to cancel a dining reservation it must be done before 11:59 pm the day prior, otherwise Disney will change a $10 per person cancellation fee. Pre-paid locations will retain the entire amount of the reservation.
Guests may cancel their reservations by calling (407) WDW-CNCL, on the Walt Disney World Resort website and using the My Disney Experience app. For guests on Disney property, you may stop by your resort’s concierge desk, Guest Relations or the restaurant podium.
