Harambe Nights coming to the Animal Kingdom this summer
This summer at Disney’s Animal Kingdom guests can take part in Harambe Nights, an all-inclusive experience. Every Saturday, June 7 – August 9, 2014, take part in the celebrating of the 20th anniversary of Disney’s The Lion King.
The party will kick off with a reception and then head to Harambe Theatre for a performance of The Lion King: Concert in the Wild. There will be a live orchestra and a celebrity narration of the soundtrack. After the show, hit the street for the Harambe Night Street Party. The party will feature music, food and merchandise. A local band will perform Afro-pop rhythms all night long. Merchandise available includes a limited-release iPhone 4 and 5 phone case featuring Disney’s The Lion King, The Lion King 20th anniversary puzzle, exclusive art, collectibles and apparel. There will be artist signings and special character appearance. For guests like myself, it’s all about the food. Delicious food offerings and African beers and wines are all included.
