Recipe: Honey-Coriander Wings

The honey-coriander wings from ‘Ohana Restaurant at Disney’s Polynesian Resort are amazing. These sweet and savory wings are so good they’ll have you begging for seconds. Some might say these are the best wings on Disney property. We’ve got the recipe so you can make these unusual wings for your next get-together.
Coriander Wings
1 tbsp coarse salt
2 tbsp paprika
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
4 tbsp canola oil
4 lbs chicken wings or drummettes
- Preheat oven to 500°F. Line a baking sheet with 1″ sides with foil.
- Combine all ingredients except chicken in a large glass bowl. Add chicken and toss to coat well.
- Spread the seasoned wings on the baking sheet and roast until browned, about 35 minutes.
- To serve, toss with wing sauce.
Honey-Coriander Wing Sauce
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tbsp ground coriander
2 tbsp lime juice
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 cup honey
3/4 cup water
2 tbsp corn starch
- While the wings are baking, combine ingredients in a small saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until liquid reduces to a syrup, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and keep warm.
