Review: Frankfurter in a pretzel roll
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios you’ll find Min & Bill’s Dockside Diner floating out on Echo Lake. The quick-service restaurant features rolled sandwiches. There are three to choose from: Frankfurter in a pretzel roll with Dijon mustard (7.59);  Chicken Caesar sandwich with mixed greens, Parmesan and Caesar dressing (8.99) and Italian sausage with peppers and onions (8.99). We tried the Frankfurter in a pretzel roll.
The frankfurter is pretty good size, larger than we thought it would be. The hot dog is rolled up inside of a pretzel roll that is soft of the inside and has a chewy texture on the outside, just like you’d expect a soft pretzel to. There is some Dijon mustard inside with the dog but I definitely recommend to ask for additional on the side. Without it, it’s very dry.
Overall, I thought the frankfurter in a pretzel roll was pretty good. Not the best quick-service item in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but nonetheless it was good.
Have you had the Frankfurter Roll or one of the other options at Min & Bill’s Dockside Diner? Which is your favorite?
