Rumored Star Wars Land to have Mos Eisley Cantina -

Rumors have been running for some time about what could be taking the place of Lights, Motor, Action Extreme Stunt Show in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. First, it was rumored to be Cars Land, like in Disney California Adventure. However, the latest rumors have Star Wars Land coming to Studios. We’ve even heard Disney World Cast Members talking about Star Wars Land, but there has been no confirmation on anything from Disney.

According to Eric at TheForce.net, he spoke with a Cast Member who “heard directly from Disney supervisors that Disney is discussing building a Cantina-themed restaurant”. This cantina-themed restaurant has also been rumored to be opening in Disneyland Paris. According to various sources, it’s expected to be completed in less than 5 years. Below is a model of what the cantina might look like.

Again, these are only rumors. Nothing has been confirmed.

If the Mos Eisley Cantina comes to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, what would they serve? Will we see Blue Milk? Maybe a green glowing cocktail named after Yoda? Would it be a character meet n’ greet? I’m sure there are plenty of boys (big and small) and some girls too that would love to see some of the famous characters from the movie do a meet n’ greet. Also, would the famous Cantina Band perform at the venue?

If Star Wars Land does come it would be a great addition to the fun themed restaurants that Disney’s Hollywood Studios already has – 50’s Prime Time Cafe and Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater.
