The Epcot Flower and Garden Festival features food and drinks

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival will be taking place this year March 6-May 19. In addition to the beautiful flowers and topiaries, this year the festival will feature food and drink offerings for the first time. For Disney foodies, this will be the highlight of the festival!

Disney Parks Blog spoke with Epcot’s Executive Chef Jens Dahlman (the mastermind behind the fantastic food and drink offers for the Food and Wine Festival) about what would be offered. According Chef Jens some of the vegetables and herbs that will be featured in the food will also be grown around the the marketplaces. “We want to show our guests how food grows, to help make that connection from the kitchen to the garden.” said Chef Jens.

Chef Jens also said that each marketplace will feature three or four dishes and none which have been featured at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
