The Tea Traders Café by Joffrey’s is now open!

The Tea Traders Café by Joffrey’s is now open in Downtown Disney! We can’t wait to try this next week.

Since I was a kid, I’ve been a tea drinker. I’ll drink it hot or cold, and usually without sugar (I grew up in the north). I worked for Teavana’s (the tea store that’s in many malls) for about a year and learned a lot about the process of growing, picking and selecting teas, as well as the history behind some of them. It gave me a great appreciation for tea, so when I found out that Joffrey’s would be opening at cafe in Downtown Disney, I was thrilled. Now I can get a cup of great tea without having tea time at Disney’s Grand Floridian.

The Tea Traders Café by Joffrey’s is modeled after a 1940s warehouse to give the café an Old World-New World feel. The teas will be available however you like it – hot, iced, blended or spirited. There will be something you’ll want to drink (or eat) at The Tea Traders Café by Joffrey’s. A Tea Smith, someone who hand-blends loose leaf and herbal teas, will be there and can answer questions about teas and give you recommendations on what to try.
