Africa booth at 2013 Epcot Food and Wine Festival

The 2013 Epcot Food and Wine Festival just kicked off the past weekend and we’ve got a look at some of the marketplace booth. We’re starting our review at Africa!

- Â Berbere-style beef
- Spincach and paneer cheese pocket (Vegetarian)
- The Worldtrap Red
- MAN Vintners Chenin Blanc
- Porcupine Ridge Syrah
- Minute Maid light lemonade
- Seagram’s orange sparkling water
- Dasani bottled water
We decided to try the berbere-style beef with onions, jalapeños, tomato, okra and pap. If you are unfamiliar with pap, it’s a traditional South African porridge made from ground maize. The dish was slightly spicy, so if you don’t like your food with a kick you might want to stay clear of this one. The beef was cooked perfectly, you could just pull it apart. Overall, we enjoyed this dish.
Disney recommends this dish with The Wolftrap Red wine.
