From August 22 – 31, Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe will serve this Mary Poppins-themed Spoonful of Sugar dessert. It’s pâte à choux, chocolate caramel ganache, rainbow sprinkles, chocolate pastry cream, dark chocolate gloss, white chocolate coating and marshmallows with a a sugar penguin. It’s available for a limited time and costs 3.29.

Plenty of other dessert creations are coming in early September. One of the is Mickey-shaped French macaroons. Two flavors will be available, raspberry rose and passion fruit. These look delicious and we’re ready for one now!

There will several fruity desserts being added like the pineapple bundt cake pictured above. Also being added to the menu is a Meyer lemon strawberry tart, blueberry cheesecake, lemon honey cupcake, orange crème brûlée and a banana cream éclair (also offered will be a vanilla cream éclair). The lemon honey cupcake is calling our name!

If you love red velvet cake, then you’ll want to try the new red velvet whoopie pie.  For chocolate-holics, the chocolate brownie mousse is sure to please.

For guests who don’t eat sweets, there are plenty of savory items as well. Some of our favorites are the Jolly Holiday Combo (toasted cheese sandwich and tomato basil soup), chicken waldorf on brioche, pastrami reuben on toasted rye and Jolly Holiday salad (with spiced pecans, feta cheese, red and yellow tomatoes, and Craisins dried cranberries with raspberry vinaigrette).
