Details about Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar
We’ve got a look at some of the dishes will be on the menu at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, named for Indy’s pilot. The bar is located waterfront in Disney Springs and feature food inspired by Jock’s travels.
The lounge will seat 150 guests and sits between Paradiso 37 and The BOATHOUSE in The Landing. Inside, guests will relax and enjoy salvaged plane parts and mementos from Jock’s adventures. Outside, guests will be in an old steamboat that’s now dry docked.
The menu consists of small plates that include Dr. Elsa’s She-Deviled Eggs – brined in beet juice with lump crab filling; Good Dates – goat cheese-stuffed dates with Marcona almonds and pickled veggies; Snack of Ra – a taste of Africa with salads and dips served with injera (bread) and naan crisps; Tanis Tacos – filled with falafel, shredded lettuce and cucumber-tomato salad; and pretzels served with house-made mustard and beer-cheese fondue.
There are also dishes that are a little more filling, such as Rolling Boulder Sliders with three spice meatballs on mini-buns with yogurt sauce; Brody Brats, grilled bratwurst with mustard and pickled cabbage; “Squid! Why’d It Have to Be Squid” is fried calamari flatbread with spicy harissa and “Lao Che’s Revenge”, spicy Asian wings.
Guests looking to quench their thirst can enjoy unique cocktails. The Reggie’s Revenge and The Fountain of Youth feature Florida vodkas; Hovito Mojito and The Bitter Barkeep with Peruvian Pisco; Anything Goes with an Asian spirit that packs a little heat; The Aviator’s Flight and The Scottish Professor, and that Cool-headed Monkey with African spirits.
