Disney After Hours taking place at Magic Kingdom for a limited time

During April and May, Disney World guests can take part in a new experience at Magic Kingdom – Disney After Hours. The event gives guests the ability to enjoy some of their favorite attractions and characters without the crowds.

Disney After Hours lets guests spend an extra three hours in Magic Kingdom at night. Some of the most popular attractions, such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will be open. There will also be Disney Princess greetings taking place at Princess Fairytale Hall. If you’re looking for something to munch on, ice cream novelties (we’re thinking items like Mickey Premium Bars) and select bottled beverages will be available… included in the cost of admission. If you’re looking for something of a little more substance, Casey’s Corner and Main Street Bakery (Starbucks) will be open to purchase menu items.

This experience is not cheap. It’s $149 per person, plus tax. It will take place on the following dates: April 28 and May 5 from 10 pm to 1 am, and April 14 and 21 and May 8, 12 and 19 from 11 pm to 2 am. Tickets can be purchased by calling (407) 827-7185. Guests will be able to check-in starting at 7 pm on the night of the event.
