Disney World restaurants closed for refurbishment
Not only do attractions go down for refurbishments, but so do Disney World restaurants. Currently, Cinderella’s Royal Table and Flame Tree Barbecue are closed, but later this year, Liberty Tree Tavern will be added to the list.
Cinderella’s Royal Table in Magic Kingdom has been down since Jan. 5 and will reopen on March 7. Guests have been able to enjoy their Disney Princess dining at Citricos and will until the restaurant reopens. Flame Tree Barbecue in Disney’s Animal Kingdom also closed on Jan. 5 for refurbishment. The Discovery Island restaurant will reopen on March 31.
On July 6, Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom will close for an extensive refurbishment. We don’t know the details of the Liberty Square restaurant’s refurbishment, just that it will be closed through Nov. 20, 2015. With a nearly five month refurbishment, we’re expecting to see a complete overhaul of the interior and possibly a new menu. This refurbishment we’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on and report back with all the updates. So make sure to check back!
