Disneyland offers special Spring time and Easter menus at select restaurants
Disneyland Resort is offering plenty of Springtime food fun by serving up unique dishes and Easter brunch at a number of eateries. Along Main Street, USA, Plaza Inn will have a pan-seared salmon drizzled with Chardonnay dill cream sauce. Rice pilaf and seasonal vegetables will accompany the entrée. This dish is only going to be available April 5th. For some dessert, grab a special Spring cupcake at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café.
Mosey on over to Frontierland and pull up a seat at Rancho del Zocalo where you’ll discover a trio of “street-style” tacos for your eating pleasure. Beef, chicken, and carnitas (fried pork) are served on corn tortillas and topped with onions, cilantro, plus a splotch of salsa verde. Hankering for a sweet treat? Try the Stage Door Café and rustle up a Cookies and Cream funnel cake. Wait, can that be right? Cookies and Cream funnel cake?!?!? Tarnations! Sign me up!
For the daring eaters, Bengal BBQ in Adventureland has a Linguiça and pineapple skewer. Linguiça is a Portuguese-style pork sausage that’s been cured in smoke and seasoned with garlic and paprika. Most variants of Linguiça are spicy, so beware if you’re sensitive to a little heat.
Disney California Adventure park will also feature places celebrating Spring. Pacific Wharf Café and Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Café are offering a unique lemon cupcake. This handheld delight will be adorned with Mandarin orange frosting, chocolate flowers, carrot and a white chocolate bunny, as well as chocolate curls.
Guests looking to unleash their creative side can do so by decorating Easter-themed cookies at Springtime Roundup in the Big Thunder Ranch area. There will be kits filled with candies and frosting to fashion your own edible masterpiece. While there, other treats may tantalize your tastebuds including cotton candy, strawberry twists, as well as sweet strawberries with a chocolate dip.
Easter is also a time for family celebration. Guests attending the park on April 5th can partake in a brunch buffet at one of three locations. Goofy’s Kitchen, Storytellers Café, and Disney’s PCH Grill will offer unique items especially for the holiday. Reservations are highly recommended. And, iff you happen to be near Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa, chefs will be demonstrating their skills by decorating sugar cookies and cupcakes with Easter themes.
There’ll be plenty of food and fun at Disneyland during Spring. So, don’t be late like the White Rabbit and hop along to the Happiest Place on Earth!
