Looks like Frozen Fever is still in full effect at the Disney Parks . The new animated short has influenced some special treats that will be offered at the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts beginning April 8th. One of the iconic scenes from the cartoon is Olaf grabbing a bite of the wedding cake before the celebration. Those celebrating a special occasion, or who simply want a slice of Frozen magic, table-service restaurants at both resorts will have a full-size ice cream cake inspired by Princess Anna’s birthday cake from the animated short. Look for it at Carnation Café, Wine Country Trattoria, Storytellers Café or Steakhouse 55 inside Disneyland Resort. At Walt Disney World, this is available at Trattoria al Forno, Captain’s Grille, The Wave… of American Flavors, Sanaa, and Coral Reef Restaurant.

Easter Apple

Less than a week ago, we wrote about special Spring menus being featured at Disneyland. Now it looks like the resort is going full bloom this April with apples and cake pops. Have you ever heard the expression, “you’re so cute, I could just eat you up!” Truer words could not be said about the Bunny apples. The caramel-dipped delights are studded with marshmallows for the mouth and tail. Then it’s covered in white chocolate and finished off with sanding sugar. Little bits of chocolate pieces represent the eyes and adorable button nose.

If you’re not into cute bunnies, how about a monster dark chocolate raspberry apple? The gigantic fruit is draped in caramel and dipped in dark chocolate. There is a raspberry flavored white chocolate drizzled all over. Need more chocolate? On the top and bottom third of the apple has been adorned with semi-sweet and white chocolate chips, as well as chunks or roasted almonds.

If apples aren’t your thing (Snow White?), you can try an egg pop. Wait, what’s that you ask? This treat is a cake pop shaped like our buddy Humpty Dumpty. Each is dipped in white chocolate and decorated with colored sugar. Tiny milk chocolate discs were created so all could get their very own Mickey Ears.

These sweets will only be available for a limited time. So, put on your best bunny ears and hop on over to the Disney Parks.

Which of these delectable delights do you want to try? Let us know!
