Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is now open
The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge opened on Wednesday, October 30, and we’ve got the scoop thanks to our friends at DaMouse!
The new lounge is located on the current outdoor seating area of The Hollywood Brown Derby. It does not accept reservations and is first come, first serve (just like Tutto Gusto and La Cava del Tequila in Epcot).
The menu consists of  specialty cocktails and martinis, premium ales, beers and cider, celebrity flights (martinis, margaritas, wine, champagne, scotch and Grand Marnier), wine, small plates and “The Finale” (desserts).
DaMouse kicked off his meal with the Ben Appètit – Nolet’s silver gin, X Fusion, lemonade, cucumber slices and simple syrup (10.50). He decided to give the Derby Sliders (15) a try. It came with two. The first was Wagyu beef with cognac mustard aïoli, smoked gouda cheese, bacon and avocado. The second, house-made chorizo with chipotle mayo, manchego cheese, pickles and crispy onions. According to DaMouse, “You think you’ve had sliders before but you really haven’t. Not until you try these Derby Sliders at The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge!”
