Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen is coming to Magic Kingdom

At the D23 Expo we were treated to a lot of Disney Parks news. One of the announcements made was the arrival of Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen later this year.

At Magic Kingdom, one of the most popular rides is the Jungle Cruise, where guests are delighted with cheesy jokes and a ride through the rivers of Africa. Disney World guests will soon have more Jungle Cruise fun to enjoy with the opening of Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen.

We’ve been watching the construction take place near Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventure. It’s been rumored for months that it would be a jungle-themed restaurant, but Disney had not confirmed this rumor until the D23 Expo.

The new restaurant will feature “World Famous Jungle Cuisine” and feature multiple themed dining rooms. Some of the rooms that guests will be able dine in will be the Society of Explorers and Adventurers’ meeting room and crew mess hall.
