Las Ventanas at Rix Lounge in Disney’s Coronado Springs
At Disney’s Coronado Springs, Las Ventanas at Rix Lounge opened without a word. The new table-service restaurant is located in what used to be the private room at Rix Lounge.

Las Ventanas’ opened under the radar and with very little being said. If you visit the Disney World website, it isn’t even listed. However, you will find it listed on the 2015 Disney Dining Plan brochure. The new restaurant does accept the Disney Dining Plan and will do so in 2015.

It’s a very small restaurant with only a few tables. The decor is very warm with wicker lamps, wrought-iron accents and dark wooden tables. Guests wishing to dine here will want to try in the off hours. It’s located at the entrance into the convention center section of the resort, making it a popular choice for convention attendees.

Breakfast is served daily from 7 am – 10:30 am. Menu items feature a twist on Mexican favorites like Huevos Divorciados – Two eggs any style served with a cheese quesadilla and Chorizo Skillet – Chorizo, diced potatoes, peppers, onions and garlic with Monterey Jack cheese omelet on top. If you’re looking for something a little more American, try the Sourdough French Toast or Continental Breakfast – Oatmeal or grits, sliced seasonal fruit, pastry, juice and coffee.

Guests can enjoy lunch from 11 am – 2 pm, daily. Salads, burgers, sandwiches and desserts are available. For something a little different, try the Lobster Salad – Baby spinach, cherry tomato, lobster salad and focaccia croutons. You’ll want to save room for the Chambord Mascarpone, especially if you love raspberries!
Will you be visiting Las Ventanas at Rix Lounge on your next visit to Disney World? We want to hear what you think of the menu!

Please note that Las Ventanas will remain a private venue option in the evenings.
