Pineapple Promenade at the 2014 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

Pineapple Promenade was a huge hit last year with its kicked-up version of the Dole Whip. This year it returned with two 21 and up versions of the popular Disney treat.

Pineapple Soft-serve with Myer’s Dark Rum from Pineapple Promenade at the 2014 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

We tried the pineapple soft-serve with Myer’s Dark Rum and pineapple soft-serve with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum. Both of them were delicious. Raphael De Varona from DaMouse was more of a fan of the Myer’s Dark Rum and I preferred the Parrot Bay Coconut Rum. The Myer’s added a much stronger flavor to it. You definitely knew you had rum in your drink. Pirates probably prefer this one. The Parrot Bay, on the other hand was more tropical. If you’re a Piña Colada drinker, this is the one you should try.

The Tropical Mango Pale Ale available at Pineapple Promenade

The Tropical Mango Pale Ale was really refreshing. The mango wasn’t overpowering and added a lightness to the drink. Definitely something perfect for a hot summer’s day.

Unfortunately this was our last stop this particular day so we were too full to try the Sweet Potato Cinnamon Waffle. We did see others trying it and heard it was really good.
