Review: Roasted pork shank
13 June, 2013
In true Gaston style, there is meat served on the bone at Gaston’s Tavern. The roasted pork shank is a nice hunk of meat on the bone and it’s only available at Gaston’s Tavern. We sat in Gaston’s thrown and tried one of these carnivorous snacks.
The roasted pork shank might not be pretty but it is tasty! The shank is very tender and falls right off the bone. Which is why it’s served in a paper container, unlike the turkey leg. It has a really nice slow-roasted flavor and it’s juicy and not dry. We enjoyed this much more than a turkey leg. It’s not greasy or full of cartilage like a turkey either.
Have you tried the roasted pork shank? What did you think?
