Fans of chicken and waffles will love Disney’s twist on this dish! Rather than your traditional chicken and waffles, Magic Kingdom serves a sweet and spicy chicken waffle sandwich.

Debuting in 2011, the sweet and spicy chicken waffle sandwich was available only during the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The sandwich was just a hit at Sleepy Hollow that Disney decided to keep it on the menu. It is a crispy chicken breast tossed in a sweet and spicy Asian sauce, topped with a sriracha cole slaw and arugula and served on a large waffle. It’s awesome! It has a ton of flavor and isn’t too spicy. The crunchy slaw is a nice contrast to the juicy chicken breast. It’s a huge sandwich! You can share it or have it for a meal. If you want to enjoy this delicious creation, the waffle sandwich is only served 11 am to 5 pm.
Other waffle sandwiches include ham, prosciutto and swiss (7.19), and Nutella and fresh fruit(6.39).

That sandwich is delicious. It’s probably the only quick service meal item I have on my “definite” list for the MK.

The sweet and spicy chicken waffle sandwich is the one food item I recommend to everyone visiting MK. An absolutely fantastic dish!
