We tried the seared Scottish salmon with was served with cauliflower puree, watercress and malt vinaigrette. It was pretty good! The salmon was cooked perfectly and we liked the cauliflower puree (it’s an excellent substitute for potatoes). With the salmon we had the recommended Innis & Gunn Original. It’s a beer that we’ve never tried before and found it to be quite good.
Being a new marketplace booth, Scotland had a great setup with a cart filled with vegetables and barrels of Scottish whiskey, flannel and bags of hops. It was decorated more than most of the marketplace booths throughout the World Showcase. There was also a stand that featured information on the food and drinks of Scotland for those that like to learn a little something along the way.
