Seasonally Spooky Drinks at the Disneyland Resort
It’s Halloweentime at the Disneyland Resort but that doesn’t mean the heat has let up in Southern California. While the temperatures remain high, the best way to cool down in the parks is a cold drink! Whether you’re looking for an adult drink or something to share, Halloweentime brings with it some of the most delicious frozen beverages of the year!
Fall is known for so many delicious flavors, but the most popular is Pumpkin Spice. This year at California Adventure, you’ll find a Pumpkin Spice Shake at Flo’s V8 Cafe. It’s topped with whip cream, pumpkin spice sugar and graham cracker pieces. Adults can find pumpkin cider and pumpkin ale throughout the park.
While it’s always caramel apple season at Disneyland, fall flavors often highlight apples as well. Smoke Jumpers at California Adventure is featuring a Green Apple Spell Lemonade. It’s made of lemonade with sour apple syrup, raspberry syrup, and popping cherry boba pearls. If you’re looking for something a little stronger, you can grab the Poison Apple slush ( with or without vodka) at the Hollywood Lounge near Monsters Inc, Mike and Sully to the Rescue. The Hollywood Lounge also features a cotton candy lemonade and several seasonal beers.
Poison Apples are also featured at the Carthay Circle Lounge. The seasonal cocktail, the Poison Appletini, is a mix of apple whiskey, apple liquor, cranberry juice and sour apple bitters. It also comes with a purple poison apple glow cube to give the drink that little something extra.
The most Caramel Apple beverage this season is the classic Caramel Apple Smoothie from Schmoozies. It’s a blended drink with apple flavors, lots of caramel and a cloud of whip cream on top.
Over at Disneyland you can find something to sate your chocolate craving at Rancho del Zocalo. The blended Frozen Abuelita Horchata is layered with frozen Mexican hot chocolate and frozen Horchata, then topped with spiced whip cream. It’s rich and delicious and with it’s little kick of cinnamon still tastes like fall.
