Spooky Halloween treats at Disney World
It’s that time of year again! Time for spooky Halloween treats at Disney World. This year, not only do the parks have delicious treats, but the resorts as well. Take a look at what frightful (or not-so-frightful) desserts you can enjoy.
There are plenty of spooktacular cupcakes! At Kusafiri in Disney’s Animal Kingdom you can get a bat cupcake, chocolate cake topped with white icing, sprinkles and a chocolate bat. Over at Disney’s BoardWalk, you’ll find another batty cupcake. This one is vanilla cake with caramel apple filling and topped with whipped cream. If bats aren’t your thing, the BoardWalk Bakery offers the cupcake with a cute ghostly top.
If witches are your favorite, then try the one at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. It’s chocolate cake filled with peanut butter filling and topped with a witches had. Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, their witch cupcake is made with carrot cake. We can’t wait to try the one at Epcot!
At Discovery Island in the Animal Kingdom, guests can enjoy Spooky Worms ‘n Dirt Sundae. The sundae is a scoop of your choice of ice cream, topped with crushed chocolate cookies, gummy worms, whipped cream and Halloween sprinkles.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is getting into the spirit of things as well. You can enjoy a creamy pumpkin cheesecake, scones, spooky skeleton brownies (we love these!), chocolate cupcakes with candy corn filling topped with buttercream and a gooey chocolate-pecan torte.
