Amorette’s Patisserie opens in Disney Springs on May 15
May is going to be a big month at Disney World. There is the opening of Tiffins and a new The Jungle Book show in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and now, the opening of Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs.
As with everything Disney does, there is a story behind the bakery. Amorette’s Patisserie was one of the first locations in Town Center and the business has been pass down through the family. It is currently owned by Kara and Sara, sister who enjoy making artistic pastries.
The high-end pastry shop will feature classic and contemporary pastries and cakes. Guests will even be able to enjoy delicious cakes based on their favorite character, including Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. Just like at The Ganachery, guests will be able to watch the chefs at work making and decorating the cakes.
No matter what kind of sweets you crave, there will be something you will love. Guests will be able to classic macarons, crisp pavlova, eclairs, ultimate chocolate-chocolate chunk cookie, New York-style cheesecake, opera cake and sacher torte (the famous Viennese culinary delight created by Austrian Franz Sacher in 1832 for Prince Wenzel von Metternich in Vienna, Austria).
The sweet treats will have beautiful, unique names, such as “Reflection in Memphis” (peanut blondie with bacon, banana and chocolate) and Strawberry Fields of OC (strawberry mousse with basil sugar and lemon curd).
In addition to the sweets, Amorette’s will features a few beverage options. Guests will be able to sip Champagne or sparking wine; Amorette’s Hot Chocolate Ganache, a cupful of sippable chocolate with Chantilly and shaved dark chocolate on top; or enjoy a glass of cold milk, tea or coffee.
This will be a great gift to take home to family and friends. The decadent sweets will be packaged in beautiful boutique-style boxes.
Even though Amorett’s Patisserie opens on May 15, guests won’t be able to pre-order Amorette’s cakes until May 22. Cakes will be available by calling (407) 934-3500 with an advance notice of 72 business hours.
