Four more restaurants at Magic Kingdom to serve alcohol
According to several news sources, beginning on Dec. 23, 2016, four more restaurants at Magic Kingdom will serve alcohol, specifically wine and beer.
In addition to Be Our Guest Restaurant, which started serving in 2012, Cinderella’s Royal Table, Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen, Liberty Tree Tavern and Tony’s Town Square Restaurant will also be serving alcoholic beverages during lunch and dinner.
Magic Kingdom in Disney World and Disneyland Park in Disneyland Resort have always been dry parks, per Walt’s wish. The only exception to the rule, until 2012, had been Club 33 in Disneyland. Club 33 is the extremely exclusive members-only club.
Cinderella’s Royal Table will have champagne and sparkling wines to go with its royal theming; Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd Skipper Canteen will feature wines and beers from around the world to go with its adventurous menu; Liberty Tree Tavern will serve American products like New England lagers, ciders, and domestically-produced wines; and Tony’s Town Square will offer Italian wines and beers to pair with its Italian dishes.
Wine and beer will only be sold and these five table-service restaurants and there will no be any bars or stand-alone beverage carts. It will also not be available to-go.
