Frontera Fresco Restaurant is coming to Disney Springs

We have some AMAZING news… Celebrity Chef Rick Bayless’ Frontera Fresco Restaurant is coming to Disney Springs! That’s right. The rumors are now official true.

It was announced today that six-time James Beard Foundation winner, entrepreneur Celebrity Chef Rick Bayless will be opening a Mexican restaurant in Disney Springs. It will join the many other new additions to this great dining, shopping and entertainment area. The restaurant is set to open in summer 2016 with gourmet Mexican cuisine being featured. 

Bayless has said, “I’m thrilled to bring Frontera Fresco to Disney Springs and share my passion for Mexican cuisine with the families who visit Orlando every year,”. Restaurant specialties will include hand-crafted tortas, tacos, salads, fresh-made guacamole and classic Mexican braised meat entrees. The ingredients will be natural and locally sourced. In addition to the food, there will be an extensive selection of margaritas, cocktails and craft beers and wine.

The restaurant will be designed by Daroff Design and be nearly 6,000-square-foot space and able to seat 200 guests. It’s part of Vista Springs LLC, the same company operates San Angel Inn Restaurant, La Cava del Tequila, La Cantina de San Angel and La Hacienda de San Angel Restaurant at the Mexico pavilion in Epcot; and Maya Grill, Pepper Market, Rix Lounge, Las Ventanas, Siestas, Laguna Bar, and Café Rix inside Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
