Jardin de Fiesta at Epcot Flower and Garden Festival
8 April, 2013
Sitting opposite from La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico pavilion is Jardin de Fiesta. As with other Epcot Flower and Garden Festival marketplaces the focus is on light, fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Menu
- Tostada (Crab tostada served with Chipotle Mayo and Valentina Salsa)
- Tacos de Carnitas (Pork Tacos topped with Tamarindo salsa, served on a flour tortilla with Chicharrón)
- Flan de Guayaba (Guava Custard)
- Rosita Margarita
- Organic Tequila Flight
- Mexican Beer, Corona Light Draft Beer
- Conga Fruit Punch (non-alcoholic)
This tostada is topped with cold crab meat and a sauce adds a little bit of heat to the crab. The combination of the spicy sauce, cold crab and hard tostada shell makes for a really great dish. We really enjoyed this!
The flan de guayaba, guava custard, had a pretty good guava flavor. If you don’t like guava, you might want to skip this one and if you love guava, you must try it. It had a nice consistency – not too thick and not liquidy (which we’ve seen happen).
Have you tried any of the items at Jardin de Fiesta? Which was your favorite?
