New Outdoor Kitchens at Epcot Flower and Garden Festival
The Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is in less than a month. The 23rd festival will take place March 2 – May 30, 2016… 90 days, with two new Outdoor Kitchens.
Many of your favorite Outdoor Kitchens will be returning, but there are also two new ones – La Isla Fresca and Cider House. La Isla Fresca will feature authentic Caribbean dishes, such as Jamaican braised beef with pigeon peas and rice; spicy jerk chicken or grouper with mango salsa; and a Tres Leches cake with guava puree. To drink, try Red Stripe Jamaican-style lager, or frozen Simply Tropical juice drink (those 21 and up can order it with rum).
The Cider House will highlight the United Kingdom with dishes with a twist. Some of the offerings include a field greens salad (the greens are from The Land Pavilion), heirloom apples, Stilton cheese and dried blueberries; and a pear cider-brined shredded corned beef, braised cabbage and pears with Branston dressing. Guests will be able to pair their dishes with four hard, including a blueberry ciders made in Plant City, FL, plus Cigar City Tampa-Style Lager.
Other Outdoor Kitchens include Urban Farm Eats (with a new seared pork tenderloin), Pineapple Promenade, Fleur de Lys, Florida Fresh, Taste of Marrakesh, Hanami, THE SMOKEHOUSE: Barbecue and Brews, Primavera Kitchen, Lotus House, Bauernmarkt (with the addition of German currywurst sausage), and Jardin de Fiestas. That makes a total of 13 Outdoor Kitchens to enjoy as you stroll along the World Showcase promenade.
We can’t wait to try the new dishes and the two new Outdoor Kitchens! Check out our page for the 2016 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival for more information on this tasty part of the festival.
