New Zealand booth at 2013 Epcot Food and Wine Festival

If unusual foods are what you like then make sure to stop by New Zealand during your trip around the 2013 Epcot Food and Wine Festival. They don’t have your typically chicken, beef and fish! Here you can enjoy green lip mussels, lamb meatballs and venison sausage.

I went with the recommended steamed green lip mussels and Mohua sauvignon blanc. They really did pair nice together. The sauvignon blanc was really nice and crisp. It was perfect considering the Florida heat and humidity. I really enjoyed the mussels which were topped with toasted breadcrumbs. Often people complain that mussels are slimy, these were not, and they were large. If you enjoy mussels, definitely stop by New Zealand and try these.
