Taste of Marrakesh at the 2014 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival
Taste of Marrakesh located at the Morocco Pavilion is the least busy of all of the Outdoor Kitchens. The Baghrir was on the 2013 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival menu and returned again this year.
Taste of Marrakesh Menu
- Lamb Brewat Roll with Prunes and Sesame
- Harissa Chicken Kebab with Couscous salad
- Baghrir – Moroccan Pancake with Honey, Almonds and Argon Oil (Vegetarian)
- Desert Rose – Sparkling Wine with Pomegranate Liqueur
- White Sangria
- Guerrouane Red
- Efes Lager
- Mint Iced Tea
- Dasani Bottled Water
We tried the Harissa Chicken Kebab with couscous salad. Harissa is a hot chili paste that is mostly associated with the cuisine in Tunisia, Libya, Algeria and Morocco. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the harissa added a nice flavor. Overall the dish was pretty good. We also tried the Guerrouane red wine. I’d recommend trying one of the other beverages. The wine tasted like a cheap table wine.
