Update: Epcot Food and Wine Festival 2013
We are finally get some details on the Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
The Epcot Food and Wine Festival will be taking place Sep. 27 – Nov. 11, 2013. New information includes Eat to the Beat Concert Series, new and returning booths, and special events.
New and Returning Booths
Scotland will be joining the more than 25 marketplaces. It will offer traditional Scottish flavors paired with beer, meads and Scotch. This comes right after Merida is crowned an official Disney Princess.
Returning will be the Brazil booth, which wasn’t around last year. We’re interested to see what, if any, or the previous menu items will return.
Also returning is a fan favorite, Hawai’i. We love this booth. There hasn’t been a single item over the past two years that we haven’t loved.
Debuting last year, the Terra booth, features vegan dishes and will be back again this year to please the non-meat eaters. We tried the Chili Colorado and found it to be pretty good. No word on if it will be returning but the Trick’n Chicken Curry will be.
Florida Fresh, like Terra, debuted last year and will be returning again. This booth features fresh, local ingredients like in the Florida Shrimp Ceviche.

I don’t know about meeting celebrity chefs but it doesn’t hurt to contact Disney about doing so. One option is to set up a dessert view party for IllumiNations. It’s a fantastic way to end a great day at the park.
