The 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Japan booth

The 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Japan booth offers a nice selection of food and drink. The booth has been a Food and Wine Festival staple since 1996.

In addition to the fan-favorite, Spicy Hand Roll, Teriyaki Gyoza Bun and Chirashizushi are being offered. Sake is the featured beverage this year, with 3 sake drinks on the menu.

Teriyaki Gyoza Bun is a steamed bun filled with chicken, vegetables and a sweet Teriyaki sauce. The bun is very moist, as is the chicken filling. It’s sweet, but not too sweet. Those who are a fan of Dim Sum will love this steamed bun.

Disney Dining Plan snack credits can be redeemed for it or purchased for $5.50.

The Spicy Hand Roll has been on the menu for several years now. It’s tuna and salmon rolled in sushi rice and topped with Kazan Volcano sauce. It’s $4.95 and can be purchased with Disney Dining Plan snack credits. If you like spicy, try this roll – it’s spicy but not too spicy.
